Although a Chicagoan by birth, Cathy was adopted by Iowa a long time ago. After law school at Indiana University and working in Chicago, she and her husband Mike moved to Iowa City in 1994. As their family grew, Cathy limited her law practice to mediation and spent time keeping the home fires burning while Mike established one of the best law firms in the region, now known as Pugh Hagan Prahm, LLP.
Mike and Cathy’s children keep them busy and involved. They have four kids; two sons in college, and two daughters still at home. They are active in sports and music. Cathy volunteers with many organizations including: City High PSTO President, MidwestOne Bank Advisory Board, Go Red For Women Executive Council, Mercy Hospital Foundation Board, 5224Good Executive Council and United Way Power of the Purse Committee.
Cathy loves the providing her clients the very best experience in buying or selling real estate. She approaches each project with enthusiasm and dedication. Making sure her clients have the best information and research to make informed decisions is a hallmark of her service. Cathy’s experience as a lawyer makes her uniquely qualified in negotiating contracts and providing great guidance to her clients in their real estate investments. Her favorite part of this job is helping her clients through very important life decisions while helping them reach their goals.
